- About: I am an avid gardener and learned many gardening ideas from my Grandma Gibson who was the best gardener I had ever seen. She grew potatoes in things now that most gardeners would never dream of but she grew outstanding crops by recycling stuff in her yard instead of throwing things out and she mixed her own mixtures from ingredients straight out of her kitchen or pantry to fight off bugs, slugs, fungus, blight, blossom rot and just about anything else that came along including the munching little rabbits every spring that could wipe out newly planted seedlings. I wanted to pass along to others the knowledge that I learned at my Grandma Gibson's knees.
